Funding Through Practice

By now you'll probably be familiar with our slogan: #FundingThroughPractice, and this probably won't be the last time you see the hashtag, because we're really excited about the concept.

But what does it actually mean? What is it that we do that's different? Well, put quite simply, the Stagey Fund isn't a pot of money. Nope. Instead, it's a cauldron of skills, all stirred up into a powerful brew that we want to share with those who need it.

Money is something that's given, and then spent. We eliminate the laborious process of attaining the money, and then spending it, by just giving you what you'd spend it on if you had it. In other words, we offer exactly what's needed, when it's needed, and at the moment, that's 'online development'.

But why do we believe in this? Not everyone has a huge amount of money to give. There are, of course, lots of wealthy philanthropists who give generous financial donations to the Arts, but there are more who don't value the Arts above other charitable causes. More importantly, there are lots and lots of people who want to give to the Arts, but just don't have the money to do so.

But why give money? If you want to support the Arts, and have a skill that not many people have, but that lots of people need... why not give that instead? That's exactly what we thought, and that's exactly why we're here today!

Whether you're an individual or group, looking to put on an exciting new show or develop a priceless new company, emerging or established, apply for the Stagey Fund today! You might be next on our list of beneficiaries.
