Accidental Festival 2013

The Accidental Festival is an annual 4-day festival that takes place at the Roundhouse in Camden, London. It provides an incredible opportunity for artists to produce and exhibit or perform their work at the Roundhouse. Sound like it could be relevant to you?

The Stagey team are delighted to be playing roles in this year's Festival, and we think it could be an amazing opportunity for you to showcase your work!

The Accidental Festival accepts applications of work from all disciplines, but the deadline to get your application in is Friday 25th January, so make sure you're quick! The festival itself will take place from 9th - 12th May 2013.

Mission Statement:

Now in its eighth year, The Accidental Festival is produced with passion by second-year students on the BA (Hons) Theatre Practice: Performance Arts course at The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama. Returning to the Roundhouse for its third consecutive year from the 9th - 12th May 2013, the Accidental Festival is an annual opportunity for artists to share work, take risks, and present fresh ideas to a diverse audience.

Welcoming applications from both emerging and established artists, the Festival will present a varied four-day programme of original and current work, seeking entries from a broad spectrum, both in terms of their discipline, and geographically.

The Festival weekend will offer an affordable yet energetic, stimulating and social atmosphere with emphasis placed on the arts as a shared experience. The Accidental Festival will promote the discovery of new art forms and unique experiences, aiming to inspire future students, audiences and artists through the formation of relationships, and an emphasis on learning and discovery.
